SHS Leadership Update

A Message From Superintendent Tracy Wrend

Teachers and administrators are working closely to maintain Stowe High School’s high quality learning environment during this transition period.  SHS has a long history of collaborative leadership. The faculty and staff are committed to ensuring that day-to-day learning continues smoothly and productively.

Faculty and administration have identified leaders for everything from lunch duty to prom and graduation.  In addition, an administrator will be on site daily.  Dan Morrison will handle day-to-day needs at SHS on most days, and central office administrators will be on site when Dan is out of the building.

As we look to the future, we will be posting for an Interim Principal for the 2019-2020 school year.  We are planning an expedited search, modeled after the successful process just completed for SES.  We will provide regular updates on this process.

Especially for juniors and their families, we want to acknowledge that additional information and support for the college application process is forthcoming as planned.  Look for more information and updates in May!

As always, please reach out to a teacher, TA or the office with any questions or concerns.
